Our technology-enhanced deposition services are like having another expert in the room with you. After all, when your depositions are digital, analyzed, and in real time, it’s easier to reveal patterns, make connections, and conduct more responsive sessions—both before and after the event. The result? Depositions that work harder for you—not the other way around.
D4′s team of court reporting specialists has years of experience with all types of litigation, including large-scale, corporate matters and international ones as well. That makes us uniquely positioned to handle all of the challenges that may arise.
Since depositions are taken via a digital recording device these days, D4 provides audio and video of depositions with a voice recognition-generated transcript. Digital depositions use a video camera and audio equipment to record the voices of the individual participants in the proceeding and gives you the ability to play back the audio or video. Each participant is recorded on separate tracks. This eliminates the question of whether the reporter got the information wrong and, if a transcript is needed, the court reporter can easily replay the audio/video.
Hosted Depo Repository
D4’s web-based deposition repository provides immediate, secure, fully searchable access to your synchronized videos, transcripts, exhibits, and other case-related documents, all in one place, at no additional cost.
Virtual Depositions (Remote)
D4 helps you easily stream real-time video depositions across the globe with just a few clicks of a mouse. Requiring no download, our web-based deposition solutions lets everyone involved in the deposition participate remotely simply by using their computer or mobile device and an Internet connection. We let you assess a witness’s mannerisms, collaborate through group and private chat, and share exhibits online.
This multi-step process applies a variety of advanced technologies to better prepare for depositions so analytics can guide our clients’ discovery.
Use transcript content to compare information against discovery documents and identify additional information. Use post-deposition and pre-trial searches to identify key documents that may not have been captured during discovery and/or review. For any new documents identified, we expand the searches across all document populations to make sure exhibits are identified for future depositions and/or trial.
Because discovery doesn’t end at ESI production, D4 provides post-production analytics to help legal teams zero in on the documents that matter—and avoid those that don’t—to best inform their case strategies and prepare a deponent.
