Heather joined the D4 team in 2011. She brings with her a combined 15 years of experience in various roles within Human Resources, Finance, and Administration. As VP of HR, Heather directs all of the human capital functions of the business. She is responsible for strategic human resource planning, developing and implementing various programs and policies, compliance, and establishing credibility throughout the company by being an effective listener and a facilitator to solving a variety of issues. Her skills and experience, combined with her analytical and thoughtful approach, equips Heather with the ability to partner with the D4 business as well as support employees across the company.
Before D4, Heather worked in public companies both large and small such as 3Com and U.S. Robotics, as well as in a private school environment at Canterbury School. In her career progression at D4, Heather helped build and improve upon the Human Resources function in talent management, benefits and compensation, employee relations, employment law and regulations compliance, workforce management, and more.
Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a double minor in Psychology and Music from Hamilton College. She also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification which is well known in the HR Professional community. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the National Human Resources Association (NHRA).
