D4’s VP of Human Resources, Heather Bigger, named as Honoree in Rochester’s Fifth Annual Human Resources Executive of the Year Award

Rochester, NY- April 3rd, 2018-D4 LLC, a leading international provider of managed data and discovery services, is proud to announce that Heather Bigger, VP of Human Resources at D4, has been named as an honoree in the Rochester chapter of the National Human Resources Association (NHRA) Fifth Annual Human Resources Executive of the Year Award. Heather is one of five finalists. The winner will be announced and all five finalists will be honored at a luncheon on Wednesday, April 18th, at Locust Hill Country Club.

The HR Executive of the Year award was created to recognize exceptional leaders in the Human Resources community who bring innovation, inspiration, and operational excellence to their organizations. Award recipients are chosen based on their success in exhibiting excellence in their field, adhering to professional standards, and their role in positioning human resources as a strategic business partner within their organization.

Heather joined the D4 team in 2011 and is the VP of Human Resources. She brings with her a combined 15 years of experience in various roles within Human Resources, Finance, and Administration. In her career progression at D4, Heather helped build and improve upon the Human Resources function and foundation from the ground up in many areas including talent management, benefits and compensation, employee relations, employment law and regulations compliance, workforce management, risk management and employee engagement. Now as VP of Human Resources at D4, Heather is responsible for strategic human resource planning, developing and implementing various programs and policies, human resource compliance, and establishing credibility throughout the company by being an effective listener and a facilitator to solving a variety of issues.

Before joining D4, Heather worked in public companies both small and large such as 3Com, U.S. Robotics, and Shemin Nurseries. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a double minor in Psychology and Music from Hamilton College in NY. She also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the National Human Resources Association (NHRA) local chapter.
